What Aer does

Air quality, made legible and actionable

Raw pollutant numbers are hard to read. Aer turns them into a clear verdict, a forecast, and a decision.

Live AQI & a clear verdict

The current Air Quality Index for 35 cities, with a one-line "great day out" or "take it easy" you can act on immediately.

7-day forecast

A daily AQI forecast from a machine-learning model trained on 5.5 years of data — plan the school run or a training session ahead.

35 cities on a map

A colour-coded map of the whole country. Find the cleanest air near you at a glance, or compare cities side by side.

Health advice that fits you

Guidance tailored to your profile — general, respiratory-sensitive, or active — plus a clear "walk, ventilate, mask, or rest" layer.

Alerts before it's bad

Set an AQI threshold and get warned when a saved city crosses it, plus an optional morning air report.

Private & offline-safe

Works without a connection using the last readings, always clearly labelled. Location stays on your device; nothing is tracked.

Honest by design

Aer's data comes from the Copernicus (CAMS) atmospheric model via Open-Meteo. Values are modelled estimates and forecasts — not readings from a physical sensor at your exact location — and the app labels them as such. Validated against real ground stations, the model tracks measured PM2.5 to within ~2.5 µg/m³. Health guidance is general information, not medical advice.
